Baby Kicks

Baby Kicks -Reward from the baby to his mother by Tehmina
The kicking stage, promotion to this stage of pregnancy is greeted with
an approval, approval from the baby, confirming "I am fine". An unusual
and impressive touch we feel after a half journey of being pregnant.
Having gone through all the tough morning sickness and other subtle
experiences, here is the award. Yeah he/she is moving. Feeling him/her
move for the first time, is the best feeling you can ever have. Few of
us dismiss the value of this feel, but most will agree that it is quite
refreshing, a positive take on it.
These movements may feel like butterflies in stomach or a growling
stomach or pop corns popping or like a goldfish swimming around. But
this is not a fish, pop corn or a gas this actually is the baby. As the
baby continues to develop he/she will flex and stretch his limbs. These
early movements are somewhat erratic. They will become more regular
later in the pregnancy. A woman is then able to feel and distinguish
between kicks, pushes and rolls.
The kicks probably are felt somewhere between 16-22 weeks, even though
baby started moving at around 7 or 8 weeks. Some of us have already
witnessed there aerobics during our ultrasounds. But few of our friends
claim that they can feel there baby movement at Week 5 as well. Yes they
are the ones who know that they are pregnant when the sperms and eggs
are locating themselves and passing through the fallopian tubes for
fertilization. They only exaggerate things. Frankly this is not possible
The most active time for many babies is the second half of the seventh
month and the entire eighth month. The babies at this stage also respond
to their parents chat and to some emotions. Certain drinks which the mom
drinks cause them to be more active and probably happy. Sometimes they
are also uncomfortable in their mom's postures.
A very special experience is waiting ahead this month. Feeling the
fluttering movement of the baby is a wonderful touch. This is an innate
gift from the baby. An award from him for the mom that he/she is well
taken care off.
